Since you are visiting my website, chances are high that you know and care about someone who is dyslexic or you are dyslexic yourself. You probably also have some familiarity with assistive technology and are eager to work with someone who can help you find AT tools to make reading and writing easier. You’ve come to the right place!

I have been an educator for over 20 years, and for the majority of that time, I have worked with students identified with dyslexia. Having trained as an Orton-Gillingham tutor, I have a solid understanding of the language difficulties dyslexics can have, and I continue to draw on that knowledge when training students and teachers in effective uses of assistive technology. Time after time, I have seen AT open up new avenues of learning that were impossible just a few years ago. Having developed a highly successful AT program at a specialized school for dyslexic students, I am now on a mission to bring assistive technology to the greater dyslexia world.

So how can I help you? If your school has recently implemented an iPad program, I can assist you in selecting appropriate apps and train your teachers how to use them effectively. If you have decided to purchase specific AT software for your school, I can run an inservice program to make sure its usage is optimized. If you are looking for someone to make a case for AT use in your school or organization, I can give a dynamic presentation outlining how assistive technology levels the playing field for dyslexics. If you or your child needs individualized one-to-one training in technology tools that will increase productivity and learning, I can do that, too. I have a great deal of enthusiasm for finding AT solutions for students and adults with dyslexia, and I am eager to pass that on to you in any way that I can.

Please explore this site for a more complete picture of my past experience and how I can bring a greater level of independence to the future of those with dyslexia. I hope to hear from you soon!
